I really wanna get into Fringe but I hate that whacky-mad-scientist-father and sarcastic-irreverent-son duo, THEY SORT OF SUCK.

Especially when the ‘mad’ scientist always invents things that could never exist in the place of actual plot points and mystery.

Oh man, Walter, and Astrid, are totally the best characters in it! Olivia and Peter aren’t as awesome as a lot of people are making out though, but they do get a lot better I think. In the first season, listen out for how many times they tell people “We’re with the FBI”

I dunno, I think you just have to get to a point where you’re comfortable with the idea that they deal in Fringe science. So their world is one where hypothetical crazy stuff can become reality. I don’t think it replaces plot or mystery, it’s very much a part of the show.

I do really dig Fringe though.
